Description

Nalgene™ Super Versi-Dry™ absorbent laboratory paper is a durable surface-protection mat for laboratory benches and work areas. Each long underlay combines a highly absorbent top layer with a polyethylene support fabric on the reverse, delivering waterproof performance, non-slip stability and chemical resistance during everyday lab use. Absorption capacity reaches 1050 ml/m², helping capture spills and protect underlying surfaces from liquid breakthrough. Individual mats measure 18 in. in length by 40 in. in width and are packed as a case of 50 pieces from manufacturer Thermo Scientific. The robust construction remains practical under wet conditions, while the polyethylene-backed reverse side keeps the sheet in place during handling, cleaning and routine procedures. Super Versi-Dry mats are suited to general bench lining, spill control and surface protection in research, quality-control and industrial laboratory environments where reliable absorbency and chemical resistance are required. Unit size is a case of 50 mats for convenient stock replenishment.

What is this article?

Nalgene™ Super Versi-Dry™ Surface Protectors is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Thermo Scientific - Laboratory Plastics for laboratory use. It sits in Plastic bottles (narrow & wide mouth), inside Bottles & containers, in Labware.

A plastic bottle is polyethylene, polypropylene or a fluoropolymer, narrow-mouth for pouring or wide-mouth for powders. It is the choice when the bottle must not shatter, and it is the wrong choice for solvents that swell the plastic.

A laboratory bottle is a closed container with a stated volume and a neck that takes a cap, a stopper or a dispenser. Borosilicate glass is the choice when the liquid is a solvent, or when the bottle will be heated or autoclaved. Polyethylene and polypropylene are the choice when the bottle must not shatter, or when hydrofluoric acid would attack glass. A narrow mouth pours. A wide mouth is for powders and for reaching the bottom. Laboratory ware of this kind is indexed under ISO laboratory glassware. Traceable volume sits with the BIPM and NIST Physical Measurement.
