Description

Amber Nalgene™ HDPE wide-mouth bottles in laboratory grade enable secure storage, transport and packaging of light-sensitive contents. Fabricated from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) in a distinctive amber tone, the round bottles deliver excellent chemical resistance against most acids, bases and alcohols commonly encountered in the laboratory. A wide-mouth configuration with a 28 mm metric inner neck diameter and a 38 mm amber polypropylene screw closure without liner simplifies filling, pouring and cleaning. The nominal capacity is 0,125 l (4 oz), with approximate external dimensions of 3,91 in height and 1,98 in width. These laboratory-quality bottles meet the US Pharmacopeia 23 specifications for maximum light transmission, supporting reliable protection of photosensitive materials. Offered as a case of 72 units with 12 pieces per pack from manufacturer Thermo Scientific - Laboratory Plastics, they integrate readily into chemical handling, sample logistics and packaging routines. The closure is included and does not allow dispensing through the cap. Non-graduated construction keeps the vessel profile simple for general laboratory use with reagents, buffers and other light-sensitive preparations.
