Description
neochrom® aluminium full tear-off cap ND20 is a colourless-lacquered crimp closure supplied ready-mounted with a dark-grey butyl septum for ND20 vial sealing. The full tear-off design allows the entire centre disc to be removed after crimping, giving open access to the vial contents when required. The butyl septum is specified at 50° hardness and 3,0 mm thickness, with temperature resistance from −40 °C to 120 °C, and is intended for non-critical analytical applications. Pre-assembled crimp seals of this type simplify sample preparation in chromatography and general laboratory workflows where aluminium ND20 closures are standard. Offered by manufacturer neolab - Labor, the caps support routine sealing of headspace or storage vials when a full tear-off aluminium shell and dark-grey butyl septum combination is specified. Packaged in units of 100 pieces, they suit high-throughput sample handling, method development and everyday QC tasks that need consistent ND20 crimp closures without complex septum chemistry. The colourless lacquered aluminium finish provides a clean, uniform appearance on the bench and in sample racks.

Questions about neochrom® aluminium complete tear-off cap ND20, colourless lacquered, butyl septum dark grey 50°
What is this article?
neochrom® aluminium complete tear-off cap ND20, colourless lacquered, butyl septum dark grey 50° is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes neolab for laboratory use. It sits in Screw caps & closures, inside Stoppers, caps & closures, in Labware.
A screw cap has a thread and a liner. The thread has to match the bottle. The liner has to survive the liquid: a pulp liner fails in a solvent that a PTFE-faced liner ignores. The colour of the cap is not the specification.
A closure is the part that decides whether a bottle stays shut and whether the contents attack the seal. A ground-glass stopper matches a ground neck. A screw cap needs the right thread and a liner that survives the liquid. Rubber and silicone stoppers push into a mouth. The liner, not the colour of the cap, is the chemical choice. The vessels they close are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
