Description
Ni 14554 nickel reaction cuvette test is a ready-to-use photometric reagent system for quantitative determination of nickel in the measuring range 0,10–6,00 mg/l Ni. The test employs the dimethylglyoxime method and corresponds to DIN 38406 E11. Each package supplies 25 pre-filled 16 mm round cuvettes for a sample volume of 5 ml and is fully compatible with PhotoLab® and pHotoFlex® instruments. A batch certificate is provided and Combicheck CC100 supports analytical quality control. For total-nickel determination the additional Crack-Set 10 (250 496) with empty round cuvettes (250 621) or Crack-Set 10-C (252 033) is required. Offered by manufacturer WTW - a Xylem brand, this cuvette test is intended for routine water, wastewater and process-control laboratories that need reliable nickel results with minimal preparation. The compact kit format simplifies handling, reduces reagent preparation steps and ensures consistent optical path length for photometric evaluation. Suitable for environmental monitoring, industrial effluent testing and quality-assurance workflows where standardised nickel analysis according to the dimethylglyoxime chemistry is required.

Questions about Ni 14554, Nickel Reaction Cuvette Test Measuring range: 0
What is this article?
Ni 14554, Nickel Reaction Cuvette Test Measuring range: 0 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes WTW - a Xylem brand for laboratory use. It sits in Cuvette tests (Nanocolor), inside Test kits & water analysis, in Lab chemicals.
A cuvette test is a ready optical cell containing the reagents for one water or one chemical determination. The sample is added, the cell goes into a photometer, and the range printed on the box is the range of the answer. It is a method, packaged, not a bottle of reagent to assemble.
A test kit turns a chemical question into a colour, a titre or a reading on a strip, so the operator does not have to assemble the method from separate reagents. A cuvette test is a ready optical cell. A strip is a field reading. The range printed on the kit is the range where the answer means something. Outside it, the kit is silent or wrong. The substances inside are on PubChem. Water measurement traces to NIST.
