Description

InLab® Routine Pro-ISM is a combined pH electrode with a glass shaft, built for reliable routine pH measurement in the laboratory. It covers a pH range of 0 to 14 and operates from 0 to 100 °C with an integrated NTC 30 kOhm temperature sensor for automatic temperature compensation. The ARGENTHAL™ reference system incorporates a silver-ion barrier to support stable reference performance. Intelligent Sensor Management (ISM) stores sensor data, calibration information and maximum temperature in the electrode itself and transfers these values automatically when the sensor is connected to a compatible meter. The MultiPin™ connector head is intended for use with SevenGo and SevenCompact instruments; the matching connection cable is required separately. Offered as one piece from manufacturer Mettler-Toledo, this electrode suits general laboratory pH applications where integrated temperature sensing and digital sensor recognition improve workflow consistency and traceability of calibration data.

Questions about pH electrode InLab Routine Pro-ISM**

What is this article?

pH electrode InLab Routine Pro-ISM** is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Mettler-Toledo OnLine for laboratory use. It sits in pH electrodes & sensors, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.

A pH electrode is a glass membrane and a reference. It is a consumable: the glass ages, the junction clogs, and the reading drifts. A refillable electrode and a gel electrode differ in how they are maintained. The connector has to match the meter. The electrode, not the meter, is usually what is wrong.

A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
