Description
InLab Semi-Micro-L is a long semi-micro combination pH electrode built for measurements in narrow and deep vessels. The glass shaft has a diameter of 6 mm and a length of 230 mm, with an installation length of 271 mm, giving extended reach into tall flasks, tubes, and similar containers while remaining suitable for reduced sample volumes. It incorporates a ceramic diaphragm and an ARGENTHAL™ reference system with silver-ion barrier, covering a pH range of 0 to 14 and a temperature range of 0 to 100 °C. An S7 screw head provides the electrical connection for use with matching laboratory meters. The electrode is supplied with 25 ml of reference electrolyte (3 mol/L KCl). Net weight is 0,179 kg and gross weight 0,2 kg. Offered by manufacturer Mettler-Toledo OnLine, this elongated semi-micro design supports precise pH determination in pharmaceutical, chemical, and life-science workflows where deep immersion and limited lateral space are typical constraints.

Questions about pH electrode InLab Semi-Micro-L
What is this article?
pH electrode InLab Semi-Micro-L is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Mettler-Toledo OnLine for laboratory use. It sits in pH electrodes & sensors, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.
A pH electrode is a glass membrane and a reference. It is a consumable: the glass ages, the junction clogs, and the reading drifts. A refillable electrode and a gel electrode differ in how they are maintained. The connector has to match the meter. The electrode, not the meter, is usually what is wrong.
A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
