Description

PH60-PW pH meter set pairs the portable professional PH60 meter with the LabSen 805 ATC/pH electrode for precise pH determination in pure water, low-ionic-strength samples and low-temperature media. From manufacturer APERA Instruments, the combination delivers laboratory-grade results with automatic 1- to 3-point calibration, automatic temperature compensation and a Heads-Up function. The IP67-rated housing is waterproof, dustproof and buoyant. Meter pH range is –2,00 to 16,00 with resolution 0,01 and accuracy ±0,01 pH; ORP range is ±1000 mV. Temperature measurement covers 0 to 50 °C. The LabSen 805 electrode measures 1–11 pH at 0–80 °C, features an olive-shaped L-type membrane, triple ceramic junction, long-life reference and gel KCl electrolyte in a lead-free glass body (Ø12 × 120 mm, 8-pin cable). The complete set includes the PH60 meter, LabSen 805 electrode, ready-to-use calibration solutions (pH 4,00; 7,00; 10,01, 50 ml each), three calibration vials, 3M KCl storage solution, CalBox and carrying case. Powered by four AAA batteries for up to 1000 hours. Pack size is one complete set.

Questions about PH60 Premium pH pocket meter

What is this article?

PH60 Premium pH pocket meter is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes APERA Instruments for laboratory use. It sits in pH meters, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.

A pH meter reads the electrode and displays pH, after calibration with at least two buffers. A meter that cannot be calibrated is a voltmeter. Resolution to 0.001 is not the same as accuracy. Portable and benchtop meters differ in the electrodes they accept and in the data they store.

A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
