Description

PH60Z-MT Smart pH meter set for meat and solid food samples pairs the portable professional PH60-Z meter with the LabSen 765 ATC/pH blade electrode for precise pH measurement in meat and solid food samples. Its IP67 waterproof and dustproof housing supports demanding laboratory and field conditions. Intelligent features include automatic 1- to 3-point calibration, automatic temperature compensation (0–50 °C) and Heads-Up function. The meter measures pH from -2,00 to 16,00 at 0,01 resolution with ±0,01 accuracy, ORP to ±1000 mV and temperature from 0 to 50 °C. Bluetooth links to the ZenTest Mobile App for cloud-based data logging with timestamps, geo-location, notes and photos; operation without a smartphone remains fully possible. Supplied as a complete set from manufacturer APERA Instruments, the kit contains the meter, LabSen 765 titanium-blade electrode, pH 4,00/7,00/10,01 calibration solutions (50 ml each), calibration vials, 4 AAA batteries, 3M KCl storage solution, CalBox and carrying case. The spear membrane and open-plus-ceramic diaphragm allow direct insertion into solid samples.

Questions about PH60-Z Smart Pocket pH Tester (powered by ZenTest Mobile App)

What is this article?

PH60-Z Smart Pocket pH Tester (powered by ZenTest Mobile App) is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes APERA Instruments for laboratory use. It sits in pH meters, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.

A pH meter reads the electrode and displays pH, after calibration with at least two buffers. A meter that cannot be calibrated is a voltmeter. Resolution to 0.001 is not the same as accuracy. Portable and benchtop meters differ in the electrodes they accept and in the data they store.

A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
