Description
Storage bottle, wide neck, soda-lime glass, brown with NS 45/27 ground joint and glass stopper is a 500 ml laboratory container for secure holding of sensitive materials. Made from soda-lime glass of hydrolytic class 3, it features an external brown coating that affords UV protection for light-sensitive contents. The wide neck design allows easy access to the bottle interior while the standard ground joint provides a tight closure with the all-glass stopper. This DURAN® product from manufacturer Duran/DWK Life Sciences has a recommended maximum usage temperature of +100 °C and thermal shock resistance of 30 K. Note that temperature differences greater than 30 °C between bottle and stopper may result in the stopper becoming stuck. Applications encompass storage of light-sensitive reagents, pharmaceuticals and chemicals, light-sensitive samples, air-sensitive reagents and chemicals, as well as hygroscopic liquids, granules and powders. The bottle complies with USP and EP (3.2.1) specifications and is supplied in a pack of 10 pieces.
