Research® plus 12-channel variable pipette 0,5–10 µL, medium grey is a mechanical air-cushion multichannel pipette for accurate, simple and ergonomic manual pipetting of aqueous solutions. Covering 0,5 to 10 µL with medium-grey colour coding, it is suited to precise low-volume work across multiwell formats. An epT.I.P.S.® Box 2.0 containing 96 pipette tips is supplied with the instrument. Built according to the Eppendorf PhysioCare Concept®, it is among the pipettes with the lowest operating and tip-ejection forces, helping to limit hand and arm strain. Standard three-button control assigns separate elements to volume setting, pipetting and tip ejection. A spring-loaded tip cone reduces attachment forces on pipettes up to 1 mL. Temporary adjustment for difficult liquids such as ethanol or for pipetting at altitude can be completed in seconds and returned to the factory setting without recalibration. The entire pipette or only the lower part may be autoclaved for proper decontamination. Robust materials ensure high UV and chemical resistance.
