Research® plus 12-channel pipette 30–300 µL orange is a mechanical air-cushion micropipette created for accurate, straightforward and ergonomic manual pipetting of aqueous solutions. The variable-volume unit incorporates three-button operation as standard, with independent elements for volume selection, pipetting and tip ejection. Following the principles of the Eppendorf PhysioCare Concept®, it ranks among the pipettes with the lowest operating and tip-ejection forces, helping to minimise strain on hand and arm, and features a spring-loaded tip cone that lowers attachment forces. Channel numbering permits consistent positioning, and single channels can be removed as required to increase flexibility. The pipette can be adjusted within seconds for improved accuracy with difficult liquids such as ethanol or when working at high altitude, then returned to factory calibration without the need for recalibration. Premium materials guarantee strong UV and chemical resistance; either the whole pipette or only the lower part may be autoclaved to ensure proper decontamination.
