It uses the familiar three-button layout, with separate controls for volume selection, pipetting and tip ejection, supporting efficient routine work at a fixed 20 µL setting. Developed according to the Eppendorf PhysioCare Concept®, the instrument is among those with the lowest operating and tip-ejection forces on the market, helping reduce strain on hand and arm during extended use. A spring-loaded tip cone minimises attachment forces on models up to 1 mL. Temporary adjustment can be set in seconds to improve accuracy with demanding liquids such as ethanol or when pipetting at high altitude, after which the pipette returns to factory adjustment without recalibration. Depending on application needs, the entire pipette or only the lower part can be autoclaved for proper decontamination.
