RH basic-white S002 is a magnetic stirrer with heating that combines an enamelled white ceramic hotplate with a UK plug for laboratory use. This cost-effective instrument features an innovative design and a heating output of 600 W, delivering rapid heat-up times together with very good chemical resistance of the plate surface. A socket conforming to DIN 12878 accepts an electronic contact thermometer such as the ETS-D5, so that temperature can be regulated with high accuracy directly in the medium. An adjustable safety circuit limits the hotplate temperature between 100 and 360 °C. Soft-start of the stirring motor protects sensitive samples, while an M 10 thread allows convenient adaptation of a support rod. The strong magnetic field and wide speed range support stirring volumes up to 15 litres.
