ROTAVISC SBS me-vi HELI Complete S002 is a rotational viscometer package supplied with a UK plug for fast and accurate viscosity measurements. Special steel ball bearing (SBS) technology instead of a jewel bearing provides high robustness, making the instrument well suited to high sample throughput, frequent spindle changes, rougher operating conditions or frequent changes of location. Viscosity can be measured from 100 to 40.000.000 mPas. Measuring accuracy is ± 1 % of the range for Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids; reproducibility is ± 0,2 %. The motorised HELISTAND slowly and uniformly raises and lowers the mounted viscometer and its rotating body in the sample, supporting viscosity measurement in motion. Operation is straightforward via the generous 4,3″ TFT display with intuitive menus, a digital level for correct start alignment and a simple ramp function for recurring work. Speed may be set steplessly or by programmes and discrete steps. This complete package from manufacturer IKA delivers reliable results for simple through to demanding viscosity applications.
