ROTAVISC SBS me-vi HELI Complete S003 is a rotational viscometer package fitted with a Swiss plug, intended for rapid and exact viscosity measurement. SBS (steel ball bearing, suspended) technology replaces jewel bearings and gives the instrument outstanding robustness for high sample throughput, frequent spindle changes, harsh environments or regular relocation. The measuring range covers 100 to 40.000.000 mPas. Accuracy reaches ± 1 % of the measuring range for both Newtonian and non-Newtonian liquids, while reproducibility is ± 0,2 %. With the motorised HELISTAND the viscometer and rotating body move slowly and evenly up and down in the sample, enabling viscosity measurement in motion. The large 4,3″ TFT display provides clear, intuitive menu navigation; a digital level helps set correct start conditions and a simple ramp function streamlines repetitive tasks. Rotational speed can be adjusted continuously or defined via programmes and individual steps. Offered as a complete package from manufacturer IKA, the system supports everyday and advanced laboratory viscosity work.
