Description
SCP 930 Plus is an IDS pH electrode with glass shaft, integrated NTC 30 kOhm temperature sensor and 3 m fixed cable ending in a digital plug. It features a platinum diaphragm, KCl 3 mol/l electrolyte and a Silamid® reference system with silver-ion barrier and double electrolyte, paired with a spherical membrane of A-glass. The electrode measures 170 mm in length and 12 mm in diameter, covering 0 to 14 pH at operating temperatures from –5 to +100 °C. Supplied as one piece from manufacturer SI Analytics – a Xylem brand, the digital IDS interface transmits calibrated data directly to compatible meters, reducing analogue interference. The platinum junction and double-electrolyte reference promote stable potentials in demanding aqueous matrices, while the extended temperature ceiling supports warmer process or laboratory samples. The 3 m cable length offers flexible placement of the meter relative to the measurement point. This configuration is intended for digital pH systems requiring a robust glass body, integrated temperature compensation and a defined high-temperature operating range.

Questions about SCP 930 Plus, IDS electrode with glass shaft, temp. sensor NTC 30 kOhm, 3 m
What is this article?
SCP 930 Plus, IDS electrode with glass shaft, temp. sensor NTC 30 kOhm, 3 m is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes SI Analytics - a Xylem brand for laboratory use. It sits in pH electrodes & sensors, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.
A pH electrode is a glass membrane and a reference. It is a consumable: the glass ages, the junction clogs, and the reading drifts. A refillable electrode and a gel electrode differ in how they are maintained. The connector has to match the meter. The electrode, not the meter, is usually what is wrong.
A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
