SICCO base stand for glove box is an aluminium underframe sized 890 mm width × 720 mm height × 600 mm depth, purpose-built to support SICCO glove-box systems during laboratory work. The aluminium frame incorporates side walls and a rear wall of aluminium sheet together with four swivel castors, so the complete assembly can be repositioned as needed. Designed specifically for seated operation, the work surface can be approached from a chair, allowing every zone inside the glove box to remain reachable while seated; the table area matches the footprint of the SICCO glove box. Extra storage space is available beneath the glove box. Four desiccator connectors are supplied to secure the glove box against slipping once it is placed on the stand. The unit is delivered fully assembled and only requires attachment of the glove box. Approximate weight is 17 kg (net weight 15 kg) with a distributed load capacity of 100 kg.
