Sodium hydroxide solution ROTI®Star 1 mol/l - 1 N is a volumetric solution of sodium hydroxide (empirical formula NaOH, CAS number 1310-73-2) with a molar mass of 40,01 g/mol. This aqueous alkali is packed in a 500 ml plastic bottle and shows a density of 1,04 g/cm³ together with a boiling point of 100 °C. The stated concentration of 1 mol/l, equivalent to 1 N, makes the product suitable as a ready-to-use titrant for acid-base volumetric analysis in the laboratory. It is offered from manufacturer Carl ROTH as part of the ROTI®Star range of volumetric solutions for analytical chemistry.
