Description

SONOPULS BR 30 cup resonator is a sonication vessel for indirect sonication of very small sample quantities without introduction of metal ions and particles from the sonotrode. Indirect coupling avoids cross-contamination and keeps samples free from metallic debris during ultrasonic treatment. The BR 30 supports high-intensity sonication, for example of radioactive seeds and bacteria, as well as continuous flow sonication of liquids. Inlet, outlet and overflow connections enable temperature control and/or flow-through processing of liquid samples in one vessel. Net weight is 0,9 kg and gross weight is 1,321 kg, with a packaging volume of 0,123704 m³. This cup resonator from manufacturer Bandelin belongs to the SONOPULS range and is intended where direct probe contact must be avoided. Indirect energy transfer protects sensitive or specialised samples while still delivering intensive ultrasonic exposure. Fluid ports support both small-volume work and continuous liquid handling with thermal management via the overflow path. Originating from Germany in the Berlin region, the BR 30 serves research and analytical laboratories that need controlled indirect sonication without sonotrode-derived contamination.

This article belongs on Homogenisers & dispersers, in Stirring, shaking & mixing.

Questions about SONOPULS TT 13 FZ Titanium flat tip

What is this article?

SONOPULS TT 13 FZ Titanium flat tip is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bandelin for laboratory use. It sits in Homogenisers & dispersers, inside Stirring, shaking & mixing, in Lab instruments.

A homogeniser or disperser uses a rotor inside a stator to tear a sample and disperse it. Tip diameter and speed decide the particle size. A generator for 2 mL and a generator for 1 L are different tools on, sometimes, the same drive.

Stirring keeps a mixture uniform or helps a solid dissolve. A magnetic stirrer spins a bar inside a closed vessel. An overhead stirrer drives a shaft when the liquid is viscous or the volume is large. A vortex mixer agitates a tube. A shaker moves a whole rack or a plate. The shape of the impeller and the speed decide whether the liquid turns over or merely spins. The vessels being stirred are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
