Description
SONOPULS TS 419 titanium sonotrode is a laboratory ultrasonic probe with a radiating diameter of 19 mm, designed for connection to the SH 400 G horn on HD 4400 systems. Sonotrodes transfer mechanical vibrations into the sample; they are thermostable, autoclavable and resistant to corrosive media. Sample volume, vessel diameter and the desired amplitude determine instrument selection and sonotrode type. A high amplitude produces particularly intensive sonication of the specimen. The sonotrode is attached to stepped horns or booster horns. All probes of this series from manufacturer Bandelin are manufactured from the titanium alloy TiAl6V4 (3.7165), providing mechanical strength and chemical resistance for routine laboratory ultrasonics. Offered as a single package, the probe supports sample preparation, homogenisation and related processing tasks. Net weight is 0,247 kg, gross weight 0,366 kg, with a packaging volume of 0,03 m³. Origin is Germany (Berlin). The design matches the requirements of analytical and research laboratories working with ultrasonic disintegration and sample treatment.

Questions about SONOPULS TS 109 Titanium probe
What is this article?
SONOPULS TS 109 Titanium probe is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bandelin for laboratory use. It sits in Homogenisers & dispersers, inside Stirring, shaking & mixing, in Lab instruments.
A homogeniser or disperser uses a rotor inside a stator to tear a sample and disperse it. Tip diameter and speed decide the particle size. A generator for 2 mL and a generator for 1 L are different tools on, sometimes, the same drive.
Stirring keeps a mixture uniform or helps a solid dissolve. A magnetic stirrer spins a bar inside a closed vessel. An overhead stirrer drives a shaft when the liquid is viscous or the volume is large. A vortex mixer agitates a tube. A shaker moves a whole rack or a plate. The shape of the impeller and the speed decide whether the liquid turns over or merely spins. The vessels being stirred are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
Which category should I open next?
