SONOSHAKE ultrasonic bath with agitation unit is a ready-to-operate laboratory set combining the high-performance SONOREX DIGITEC DT 1028 F ultrasonic bath with the SA 1028 shaking attachment. It offers broad scope for sample preparation in analytical work, including environmental and food analysis as well as medical diagnostics. The ultrasonic bath has a base area of 500 mm × 300 mm and a tank depth of only 65 mm, making it ideal for sonication of samples in laboratory flasks. Samples can be treated for a defined time or in continuous operation, and rapid degassing is available via the DEGAS function. The shaking attachment provides four selectable frequencies for gentle to strong horizontal movement up to a maximum of 20 mm. Ultrasound and agitation can run simultaneously or separately, so pre-homogenisation at a defined shaking frequency and final homogenisation by ultrasound are achieved in markedly shorter times. Required holding clamps EK 10 to EK 250 for laboratory flasks must be ordered separately.
