STAMMOPUR DR 8 is a concentrate for manual chemical disinfection and disinfecting, non-fixing intensive cleaning of general, surgical, invasive and non-invasive medical instruments and accessories. It is applied in ultrasonic baths and by immersion during instrument reprocessing in AEMP/CSSD units, clinics, medical and dental practices, dental laboratories and medical foot care. For critical and semi-critical medical devices further reprocessing steps are required; the product is not intended for final disinfection. The mildly alkaline Bandelin formulation is VAH-listed, free of aldehydes, chlorine and phenols, and offers bactericidal, yeasticidal and limited virucidal activity, including efficacy against coronaviruses (SARS-CoV-2). High cleaning performance in the ultrasonic bath can shorten process times. Compatible materials include metals, light metals, titanium, glass, porcelain, ceramics and plastics. Prepare cold and do not heat above 45 °C. Typical ultrasonic dosing for bactericidal, yeasticidal and limited virucidal action is 2 % for 5 minutes; standing time of the use solution is extended to three days. Pack size is 5 L concentrate.
