Description
Rinse filter/non-return valve combination 3/4'' is a combined dirt strainer and backflow preventer assembly for drinking-water lines, providing mechanical particle protection and network separation in line with DIN EN 1717 for liquid categories 1 and 2. The unit comprises a G3/4'' strainer rated to 10 bar with a 0,11 mm stainless-steel mesh and a DN12 non-return valve, also G3/4'' and 10 bar, developed to the performance requirements of DIN EN 13959. Upstream filtration shields fittings and downstream equipment from entrained particles; filter-element exchange needs no full housing dismantling and requires no tools. Vertical downward orientation of the strainer is recommended so retained debris does not remain in the housing during cartridge change. The non-return valve should be installed in a horizontal pipe with the test opening facing down. Suitable media are cold and heated drinking water. Strainer data include DN 17 mm, maximum medium temperature 90 °C, maximum operating pressure 10 bar, maximum permissible pressure loss 6 bar and Kv 70 l/min; housing is PA66 with EPDM seals. The non-return section allows up to 65 °C, maximum flow 24 l/min, 0–10 bar, 3/4'' inlet/outlet, G1/4'' drain connection and 67 mm installation length. This combination is offered from manufacturer Evoqua Water Technologies as a compact 1 pc package for laboratory and technical water installations.

Questions about Strainer/ Backflow preventor Flushing filter ¾“
What is this article?
Strainer/ Backflow preventor Flushing filter ¾“ is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Evoqua Water Technologies for laboratory use. It sits in Stopcocks & valves, inside Tubing, hoses & fittings, in Labware.
A stopcock opens and closes a line, or directs it between ports. Glass stopcocks have a ground plug that needs grease or a PTFE key. The bore decides the flow. A two-way and a three-way key are different parts.
Tubing is how a liquid or a gas moves between two vessels without being poured. Silicone stays flexible and survives repeated autoclaving. PTFE resists almost every solvent and is stiff. PVC is the ordinary flexible line for water and for mild aqueous work. The fitting, not the tube, is what usually leaks: the barb, the thread and the stopcock have to match the tube bore. Glass and plastic apparatus around these lines is indexed under ISO laboratory ware.
