Description

safe-it safety label is an originality-securing seal that makes first opening of a package clearly and irreversibly visible, so unauthorised opening can be demonstrated. When the security label is peeled off, it separates into individual layers: a previously hidden pattern appears irreversibly on the surface, and the adhesive leaves a non-removable residue on the substrate (void label). Once detached, the label cannot be reapplied, preventing relabelling or subsequent alteration. On removal of the safe-it security seal, a silver chequerboard pattern appears both on the substrate and on the surface of the sticker itself. Measuring 95 x 20 mm (W x H) and supplied as one roll from manufacturer Bürkle, safe-it serves as an originality seal and tamper evidence for samples, retain samples, sample transport, sealing of laboratory containers with important or hazardous chemicals, and for sealing letters, goods shipments and similar applications where visible manipulation proof is required.

Questions about Tamper proof labels safe-it, WxH 95x20 mm

What is this article?

Tamper proof labels safe-it, WxH 95x20 mm is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Laboratory labels, inside Labels, signs & marking, in Lab safety equipment.

A laboratory label has to stick to a cold, a wet or a curved surface and stay legible. Cryo labels, autoclave labels and ordinary bench labels are different adhesives. The size and whether it takes pencil, print or a thermal transfer are the choices.

A label is how the next person knows what is in the bottle. A GHS label carries the pictogram, the signal word and the hazard statements the classification requires. A tape or a marker is only as useful as its survival in the freezer, the autoclave or the solvent it will meet. A safety sign is the instruction that stays on the door. The pictograms come from the CLP Regulation and are explained by ECHA CLP. Workplace signs sit with EU-OSHA.
