Temperature probe with long cable, NTC is a versatile immersion and air-temperature sensor designed for liquids, pasty media and ambient measurements. Its NTC sensing element delivers precise readings with an accuracy of up to ±0,2 °C. The probe tip is flat and the connecting cable extends to 6 m, allowing flexible placement even at greater distances from the instrument. For continuous monitoring the sensor can be permanently fixed at the measuring point with a clamp or PG gland (not included). Rated IP 67, the probe is waterproof and suitable for outdoor use. Response time t99 is 5 seconds when measured in moving water at +60 °C; the value increases in still liquids, pastes or air. In air the response is typically 40 to 60 times slower, which can be advantageous when short temperature spikes should be largely ignored. Net weight is 0,105 kg.
