TICKOPUR TR 3 is a specialised citric acid-based ultrasonic cleaning concentrate for cleaning, derusting, descaling and degreasing of assembled and disassembled machines, tools, instruments and parts in industry, workshops and laboratories. The liquid, highly concentrated cleaner is intended especially for SONOREX ultrasonic devices and can also be used for immersion and wipe cleaning. Correct application ensures fast yet material-friendly results on a wide range of substrates. TICKOPUR TR 3 removes mineral residues, flash rust, greases, oils, waxes, pigments and grinding, polishing and lapping residues from non-ferrous and light metals, steel, stainless steel, glass, ceramics, plastics and rubber. Supplied as a 1 l concentrate from manufacturer Bandelin, the phosphate-free, emulsifying and biodegradable formulation includes corrosion protection and shows a pH of 3,0 at 1 % working strength. Typical ultrasonic use is at 5 % dosage for 1–10 minutes at 20–60 °C. The product is particularly gentle on materials; tin and zinc parts may nevertheless be attacked, so preliminary compatibility tests on sensitive materials are recommended.
