Description
Tube furnace TF1 12/125/1000 EPC3016P1 PID controller is a horizontal laboratory tube furnace for continuous use up to 1200 °C. Resistance-wire heating elements are embedded in high-quality vacuum-formed fibre insulation. The heated length is 1000 mm and the maximum tube outer diameter is 125 mm. Compatible work-tube lengths are 1350 mm under air atmosphere and 1600 mm under protective gas. Homogeneous zone length is 847 mm with ±5 °C uniformity at 1100 °C. Maximum power is 3,81 kW, controlled via a type N thermocouple. Furnace external dimensions are 430 × 1265 × 575 mm (H × W × D); the separate control unit measures 220 × 655 × 480 mm. The furnace body from manufacturer Carbolite Gero is supplied with a 2 m detachable interconnecting cable and can be placed directly on a bench for horizontal operation. The EPC3016P1 digital PID controller features 24 freely programmable segments, self-tuning, thermocouple-break protection, electronic setpoint limitation, digital actual and setpoint display, up to two control tracks and rear Ethernet. A matching air, protective-gas or vacuum package is required for operation. Connection is 400 V three-phase with earth and neutral, 50 Hz; unit weight is 120 kg.

Questions about Medium single zone tube furnace 12/125/1000 EPC3016P1 programmer
What is this article?
Medium single zone tube furnace 12/125/1000 EPC3016P1 programmer is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Carbolite Gero for laboratory use. It sits in Muffle & tube furnaces, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A muffle furnace surrounds a sample with heat for ashing or ignition, often to 1100 °C. A tube furnace heats a sample in a controlled atmosphere inside a tube. The maximum temperature and the chamber size are the specification. A drying oven is not a furnace.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
