Tube furnace TF1 16/100/600 EPC3016P1 PID controller is a horizontal high-temperature furnace for laboratory and process work up to 1600 °C. Silicon carbide heating elements provide a heated length of 600 mm and accept work tubes with a maximum outer diameter of 100 mm. Under air the usable tube length is 1180 mm; under protective gas it extends to 1400 mm. A homogeneous zone of 425 mm maintains ±5 °C uniformity at 1500 °C. Overall external dimensions including the control unit are 775 × 1090 × 705 mm (H × W × D); the assembly weighs 100 kg and draws a maximum of 7,0 kW. Temperature is managed by a digital EPC3016P1 PID controller offering 24 freely programmable segments, self-tuning, thermocouple-break protection, electronic set-point limiting, dual display of actual and set values, up to two control tracks and rear Ethernet. Adjustable digital overtemperature protection with a separate Type R thermocouple is included. The furnace body from manufacturer Carbolite Gero is delivered mounted on the control unit yet can be lifted off for bench use via a detachable 2 m interconnect cable. A matching air, protective-gas or vacuum package must be ordered separately for operation. Electrical supply is 400 V, three-phase, earth and neutral, 50 Hz.
