Description

Two-necked flask DURAN® with 100 ml capacity, centre neck NS 29/32 and angled side neck NS 14/23 is a multi-port round-bottom vessel for simultaneous connection of several glassware components. The central 29/32 joint accommodates larger condensers, stirrer guides or main adapters, while the angled 14/23 side neck supports addition funnels, temperature probes, gas inlets or secondary lines without crowding the assembly. Manufactured from DURAN® glass by Lenz, the flask suits reflux reactions, controlled reagent addition, inert-atmosphere work and other multi-neck procedures common in organic and preparative laboratories. The round-bottom geometry promotes even heating in oil or water baths and stable seating in standard clamps and heating mantles. Supplied as one piece with a weight of 0,080 kg, it integrates into existing NS 29/32 and NS 14/23 joint systems. This double-neck configuration streamlines setups that require concurrent access for stirring, dosing and vapour handling at the 100 ml scale, making it a practical core vessel for modular laboratory glassware trains.

Questions about Double neck round bottom flasks, 100 ml, 29/32, 14/23

What is this article?

Double neck round bottom flasks, 100 ml, 29/32, 14/23 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Lenz for laboratory use. It sits in Round-bottom flasks, inside Beakers & flasks, in Labware.

A round-bottom flask is the heating flask of a distillation or a reflux. The curved wall takes the heat, and the ground neck connects to a still head or a condenser. The joint size, not only the volume, has to match the rest of the set.

A beaker is an open working vessel: easy to pour, poor as a measure. An Erlenmeyer flask has a flat base and a conical wall so a liquid can be swirled without climbing out. A round-bottom flask is for heating under a condenser, because the heat meets a curved wall and the joint at the neck connects to the rest of the glassware. Borosilicate is the glass that survives the temperature change. These forms are listed under ISO laboratory glassware.
