Description
UV disinfection system UV 33 is a flow-through UV reactor for microbial reduction of clear, colourless water that is free of iron and manganese. The 36 W emitter sits in a pressure-resistant quartz tube inside an electropolished stainless-steel housing (1.4301) and is suitable for horizontal or vertical installation in pipelines. Volume redirection supports a high germ-kill rate across the stated duty range of about 1400–3300 l/h. At 250 J/m² and T10 = 90 % the flow is 76,6 l/min; at 400 J/m² and T10 = 98 % it is 55 l/min; and at 1200 J/m² and T10 = 98 % it is 22 l/min. Maximum operating pressure is 10 bar with a pressure drop of max. 0,1 bar; maximum water temperature is 40 °C. The lamp operates at 254 nm with a stated lifetime of 8000 h, electrical supply 230 V / 50 Hz, and 1'' process connections. Housing dimensions include 850 mm between water connections, overall height 1005 mm and diameter 88 mm; unit weight is 6,6 kg. Control electronics with operating-hours counter are housed separately and linked by cable, as supplied by manufacturer Evoqua Water Technologies.

Questions about UV 33 UV disinfection system
What is this article?
UV 33 UV disinfection system is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Evoqua Water Technologies for laboratory use. It sits in Ultrapure & pure water systems, inside Water purification, in Lab instruments.
A pure-water system, often by reverse osmosis and deionisation, feeds the laboratory. An ultrapure polisher takes that water to the resistivity and organic levels HPLC or cell culture ask for. Production rate and the feed water it expects are the specification. The system is not a cooler.
Laboratory water is a reagent. Tap water carries ions, organics and microbes that become part of every result they touch. A pure-water system takes most of them out. An ultrapure system, often a polisher after a first stage, is what HPLC, cell culture and trace analysis ask for. Resistivity, total organic carbon and endotoxin are different claims. A cartridge is spent when the number drifts, not when the calendar says so. The measurement of those impurities sits with NIST and the BIPM.
