Description
The ashing, combustion and weighing furnace 13 L 1100 °C LED is a high-precision electric muffle furnace designed for determining combustion losses with the aid of additional balances that weigh materials before, during and after the process. Process completion can be indicated once the weight no longer decreases. An optional exhaust chimney can be fitted to remove gases or fumes released during thermal processing. The furnace is used with materials such as sediment, sludge, soil, waste, cement, lime, calcined bauxite and refractories in scientific laboratories, educational institutions, ceramic studios, medicine and industry. Its continuous chamber is formed from a vacuum fibre module with integrated heating elements and high-quality ecological thermal insulation. Standard equipment includes a microprocessor-controlled temperature controller (Omron E5CC), door switch and ceramic base plate mounted on a tube. Lightweight construction provides short heat-up times, low energy consumption and good temperature stability and distribution. From manufacturer SnolTherm and supplied without a balance, the unit offers a 13 l chamber volume and maximum temperature of 1100 °C. Internal dimensions are 220 × 335 × 170 mm, rated power is 1,8 kW at 230 V single-phase, maximum heat-up time without charge is 50 min, temperature stability is ±1 °C and uniformity ±10 °C. Net weight is 38 kg.

Questions about Veraschungs-, Verbrennungs-, Wiegeofen 13L 1100°C LED
What is this article?
Veraschungs-, Verbrennungs-, Wiegeofen 13L 1100°C LED is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes SnolTherm for laboratory use. It sits in Muffle & tube furnaces, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A muffle furnace surrounds a sample with heat for ashing or ignition, often to 1100 °C. A tube furnace heats a sample in a controlled atmosphere inside a tube. The maximum temperature and the chamber size are the specification. A drying oven is not a furnace.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
