Description

Biological Microscope Vision+ with digital head combines classical bright-field optics with integrated digital imaging for documentation and teaching. The head configuration supports comfortable viewing with 30° inclination, interpupillary adjustment between 55 mm and 75 mm, and 360° rotation. A quadruple nosepiece holds achromatic objectives 4X, 10X, 40X and 100X (spring-loaded oil immersion), used with a WF10X/18 mm wide-field eyepiece. The double-layer mechanical stage (132 × 142 mm) offers 75 × 40 mm X–Y travel. Coaxial coarse and fine focus achieves 0,004 mm precision. This digital version incorporates a built-in 3 MP camera with USB 2.0 output and recording software for direct image and video capture. An Abbe condenser N.A. 1,25 with iris diaphragm and adjustable LED illumination ensure even, controllable lighting. Supplied by manufacturer Labbox with cover, fuse, filter and 100–240 V adapter, the microscope includes a two-year warranty. Gross weight is approximately 9,312 kg. Suited to educational labs, quality control and routine biological documentation.

Questions about Vision+ biological microscope, digital head

What is this article?

Vision+ biological microscope, digital head is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Labbox for laboratory use. It sits in Light & fluorescence microscopes, inside Microscopy & histology, in Lab instruments.

A light microscope looks through a thin specimen. A fluorescence microscope adds a light source and filters matched to a dye, so only the labelled structure shows. The filter set has to match the dye's excitation and emission. A bright-field microscope without those filters cannot do that experiment.

A light microscope forms an image with glass lenses and transmitted or reflected light. A stereo microscope is the lower-magnification instrument for dissecting and for looking at a surface. Fluorescence needs a light source and filters matched to the dye. Histology is the preparation that makes a tissue readable: fixation, a cassette, a section, a stain. The objective's magnification and numerical aperture decide the resolution. The slide and the cover glass decide whether the section sits in the focal plane. Stains and dyes as substances are identified on PubChem. Papers on the methods are on PubMed.
