Description
SX736 portable pH/conductivity/DO meter set provides laboratory-quality measurement of pH, conductivity (EC), TDS, salinity, resistivity, dissolved oxygen and temperature for general aqueous samples. Compact construction, IP57 dust- and waterproofing and a robust carrying case make it well suited to field work in water treatment, environmental monitoring, beverage production, aquaculture, groundwater, surface water and aquaria. pH covers −2,00 to 19,99 with 0,1/0,01 resolution and overall accuracy ±0,02 pH; automatic temperature compensation runs 0–100 °C. Conductivity ranges from 0,00 μS/cm to 199,9 mS/cm with TDS 0–100 g/l, salinity 0–100 ppt and resistivity 0–100 MΩ·cm at ±1,0 % F.S instrument accuracy. Dissolved oxygen spans 0–19,99 mg/l (ppm) and 0–200,0 % with ±0,30 mg/l accuracy and ≤30 s response (90 % at 25 °C); automatic temperature and salinity compensation plus manual air-pressure compensation (66–200 kPa) are included. The polarographic DO500 electrode polarises in about 5 minutes and uses replaceable membrane caps. Kit contents include 201T-S pH, 2301T-S conductivity and DO500 electrodes plus standards and accessories. Up to 400 data groups are stored. Meter size 65×120×31 mm, 180 g, from manufacturer APERA Instruments.

Questions about SX736 Portable pH/EC/DO Meter Kit
What is this article?
SX736 Portable pH/EC/DO Meter Kit is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes APERA Instruments for laboratory use. It sits in Conductivity meters & cells, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Instruments de précision.
A conductivity meter and its cell measure how well a solution carries current. The cell constant is the geometry that converts conductance to conductivity, and it is calibrated with a standard. Temperature compensation matters because conductivity rises with temperature.
A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
