testo 103 penetration thermometer is a compact folding core-temperature instrument for food control, storage, laboratory, catering and retail checks. At only about 11 cm when folded, it fits a shirt or trouser pocket and stays ready for use thanks to its folding mechanism. The narrow yet robust sensor tip leaves a discreet puncture mark in liquid and semi-solid media, making it practical for goods-in, warehouse and display sampling. Measurement starts reliably from a fold-out angle of 30°, so core temperature can be taken even when a full 180° opening is not possible in cartons or tight storage. The measuring range covers −30 °C to 220 °C on a single channel, with a T99 response of 10 s. Dimensions are approximately 189 mm × 19 mm × 35 mm and net weight is 0,12 kg.
