C 6040 CalWin calorimeter PC software provides control and evaluation for IKA calorimeters, allowing larger data volumes to be stored, assessed according to multiple standards and transferred into a laboratory information management system (LIMS). Several instruments can be controlled simultaneously via the application. It works ideally with the C 5000 (firmware 2.22), C 2000 (firmware 2.22), C 200 (firmware 2.0), C 6000 global standards, C 6000 isoperibol and C 1. Clear display of all measurements, results and connected calorimeters, printing and storage of calibration protocols with control-chart view, library and grouping functions with extended data filters, and correction calculations for calorific value according to ISO, ASTM, DIN, GB, GOST and other norms are supported. Data export to Excel worksheets or csv (ASCII) files is included. From manufacturer IKA, the delivery comprises a DVD with software and PDF installation guide, the C 5041,10 PC–calorimeter RS 232 cable (3 m) and an RS 232–USB adapter. Minimum system requirements include Windows XP (SP2) through Windows 11, a free USB or RS 232 port, processor from 1,6 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 2,5 GB disk space and a DVD-ROM drive.
