Description
2mag MIX 6 multi-position magnetic stirrer for 6×1000 mL Erlenmeyer flasks is an ultra-flat, wear-free laboratory stirrer designed for reliable parallel processing in chemical, biotechnological and medical applications. Six stirring positions arranged in a 2×3 layout with 130 mm spacing accommodate simultaneous work with six 1000 ml Erlenmeyer flasks and support stirring volumes from 1 ml to 3000 ml per position. The maintenance-free 2mag inductive drive delivers powerful, 100 % synchronous mixing across a speed range of 100–2000 rpm, with jerk-free operation even at low speeds. Four-stage power settings (5/10/15/20 W) allow high output for large or viscous media and reduced power for heat-free continuous duty. SoftStart ensures secure catch and acceleration of stir bars, while QuickSet and last-state memory simplify daily use. Housed in a fully encapsulated stainless-steel body sealed with PUR, the unit is easy to clean, IP65-rated and built for continuous laboratory operation. Developed and made in Germany by manufacturer 2mag, it measures 245 × 425 × 38 mm and is supplied as a single unit.
This article is part of Erlenmeyer flasks, in Beakers & flasks.

Questions about 2mag - MIX 6 Multiple point stirrer for 6x1000 mL Erlenmeyer
What is this article?
2mag - MIX 6 Multiple point stirrer for 6x1000 mL Erlenmeyer is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes 2mag for laboratory use. It sits in Erlenmeyer flasks, inside Beakers & flasks, in Labware.
An Erlenmeyer, or conical, flask has a flat base and a narrowing wall so a liquid can be swirled. It is the ordinary culture and titration flask. A baffled wall is a different article, used when the swirl must turn the liquid over.
A beaker is an open working vessel: easy to pour, poor as a measure. An Erlenmeyer flask has a flat base and a conical wall so a liquid can be swirled without climbing out. A round-bottom flask is for heating under a condenser, because the heat meets a curved wall and the joint at the neck connects to the rest of the glassware. Borosilicate is the glass that survives the temperature change. These forms are listed under ISO laboratory glassware.
