STIRRING DRYBATH 15-250 is a combined stirring heating block with 15 positions, optimised for 250 mL laboratory bottles and 400 mL beakers. Fifteen bores of 71,5 mm diameter and 78 mm depth are arranged at 84 mm spacing in a massive one-piece aluminium-alloy block with PTFE coating for chemical resistance and easier cleaning. Inductive 2mag magnetic drive provides wear-free, maintenance-free stirring from 100 to 2,000 rpm with jerk-free low-speed operation, 100 % synchronous rotation and SoftStart for reliable bar capture. A 10-step power setting supports viscous media or reduced power for continuous duty with lower self-heating. Integrated electric heating reaches up to +200 °C with PowerDetect compensation of stirring-power losses at elevated temperature, low thermal gradients via all-round energy transfer, and an insulated stainless-steel frame for efficient, uniform heating and touch protection. Separate heatMIXcontrol unit operates stirrer and heater, includes adjustable over-temperature limiter, Pt100 probe connection and RS232, and protects electronics from aggressive vapours.
