Description

Temperature-controlled beaker, 500 ml, tall form is a double-jacketed laboratory vessel for precise tempering of media using an external thermostat. Two GL thread connections fused tangentially to the rear of the outer jacket enable a secure hose link via caps and olives. The tall-form beaker is designed for magnetic stirrer use so that the sample stays well mixed throughout temperature control. Constructed from Clean Safe laboratory glass (borosilicate glass 3.3) by Landgraf HLL, it offers a smooth, easy-to-clean surface suited to biology and chemistry applications. Approximate dimensions are 75 mm inner diameter, 110 mm outer diameter, 145 mm inner height and 170 mm outer height. Nominal volume is 0,5 l. A lot or batch number with quality certificate can be provided when requested on the order. The vessel supports reliable external temperature regulation in everyday laboratory workflows.

Questions about Beaker, tempered, 500 ml, h. F.

What is this article?

Beaker, tempered, 500 ml, h. F. is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Landgraf HLL for laboratory use. It sits in Beakers, inside Beakers & flasks, in Labware.

A beaker is an open, straight-sided working vessel with a spout. It is for dissolving, heating and pouring. The graduations are a guide, not a volumetric calibration. Low form and tall form differ in stability and in how easily a liquid splashes.

A beaker is an open working vessel: easy to pour, poor as a measure. An Erlenmeyer flask has a flat base and a conical wall so a liquid can be swirled without climbing out. A round-bottom flask is for heating under a condenser, because the heat meets a curved wall and the joint at the neck connects to the rest of the glassware. Borosilicate is the glass that survives the temperature change. These forms are listed under ISO laboratory glassware.
