Description
b.safe Mini-Display Wall is a compact wall-mount alarm box in a halogen-free plastic housing intended for installation in the front panels of laboratory furniture. Measuring 85 × 85 × 37 mm (L × H × D), the front face carries touch controls and LED indicators that show operating status and the fill level of connected sensors. In this 2-channel version, up to two containers can be monitored; it is suited to b.safe Waste Caps LC and System Waste Caps LC with main alarm. When a vessel is full, the unit issues an optical and acoustic main alarm. The acoustic signal can be suspended for five-minute intervals until an empty exchange container is acknowledged. If only one channel is used, a blind plug (not included) should be fitted on the unused sensor input to avoid a permanent alarm. A power supply is included (input AC 100–240 V / 50–60 Hz, 0,5 A; output 24 V DC, 0,5 A) with plug inserts for EU, Australia, USA, Japan and UK. Offered by manufacturer Bohlender, this mini-display integrates cleanly into lab benches and waste stations for continuous fill-level supervision.

What is this article?
b.safe Mini-Display Wall, L 85 x H 85 x T 37 mm Alarm box in plastic housing for is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Solvent waste caps, safety funnels & canisters, inside Waste disposal, in Lab safety equipment.
A solvent waste cap and a safety funnel close a waste can so vapour does not fill the room, while still letting waste be poured in. The thread has to match the can. A filter and a level indicator are common features. An open beaker of waste solvent is not this article.
Laboratory waste is sorted before it is carried away. A solvent waste can has a cap and often a funnel that limits vapour. A sharps container is rigid and closable. An autoclave bag is for material that will be sterilised before it is ordinary waste. The container has to survive the chemical that goes into it. A bag that dissolves is not a container. Classification of the chemicals is on ECHA. Transport of dangerous goods is the UNECE framework. Workplace practice is EU-OSHA.
