Description

b.safe quick couplings with 2× UNF 1/4'' female threads are two-part hose couplings made of polypropylene (PP) and fitted with PFA connectors for capillaries of 3,2 mm outer diameter. Disconnecting the coupling tightly seals the passage via the integrated quick shut-off, so hose lines can be interrupted without dripping and both lines and extraction bottles remain closed during exchange. This set comprises one female and one male coupling connection plus two yellow fittings for Ø 3,2 mm tubing. Internal threads are specified as 2× UNF 1/4''; no external thread is present on this version. Supplied as one piece with a net weight of 0,00545 kg, the assembly supports clean, drip-free capillary work in the laboratory. Quick couplings from manufacturer Bohlender follow the stated execution and delivery scope for modular b.safe fluid handling. They are suited to laboratory material setups where capillary connections must be opened and closed repeatedly while maintaining a sealed system on both sides of the break.

What is this article?

b.safe Quick Couplings, 2x UNF 1/4'' (f) PP, consisting of coupling connection is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Solvent waste caps, safety funnels & canisters, inside Waste disposal, in Lab safety equipment.

A solvent waste cap and a safety funnel close a waste can so vapour does not fill the room, while still letting waste be poured in. The thread has to match the can. A filter and a level indicator are common features. An open beaker of waste solvent is not this article.

Laboratory waste is sorted before it is carried away. A solvent waste can has a cap and often a funnel that limits vapour. A sharps container is rigid and closable. An autoclave bag is for material that will be sterilised before it is ordinary waste. The container has to survive the chemical that goes into it. A bag that dissolves is not a container. Classification of the chemicals is on ECHA. Transport of dangerous goods is the UNECE framework. Workplace practice is EU-OSHA.
