b.safe Control Waste Cap S55 is a screw cap for S55 canister threads designed for safe collection and monitoring of laboratory waste solvents. The yellow glass-fibre-reinforced polypropylene body holds a freely rotatable PTFE insert fitted with a permanently mounted cable of approximately 0,5 m for connection to electronic fill-level monitoring via a b.safe Display. A sight glass and indicator pin provide additional optical level control. Three UNF 1/4" ports accept PFA fittings for capillaries with outer diameters of 1,6 mm, 2,2 mm and 3,2 mm; colour-coded fittings (green, violet and yellow, three of each size) and two milky-white blind fittings close unused ports. A GL14 thread allows screw-in mounting of a b.safe exhaust filter (filter not included). This configuration from manufacturer Bohlender supports closed-system waste handling in HPLC and analytical workflows, reducing vapour release while enabling continuous level supervision.
