Description

Centrifuge 5430 R G is a refrigerated benchtop centrifuge with foil keypad, supplied without rotor for 230 V/50–60 Hz (EU) operation. It delivers a maximum relative centrifugal force of 30 130 × g at 17 500 rpm and supports flexible rotor loads of up to 48 × 1,5/2,0 mL, 6 × 50 mL or 2 × microtiter plates. Compatibility with 12 different rotors provides broad application scope in microcentrifuge and tabletop workflows. Automatic rotor recognition and imbalance detection enhance operational safety, while the lid opens and closes ergonomically with one finger. The Eppendorf QuickLock® system allows rapid securing of the rotor lid. Menu-guided multilingual control in English, German, French and Spanish is shown on a large backlit LC display. Five program keys give direct access to routine methods, and up to 50 user-defined settings can be stored. This cooled unit from manufacturer Eppendorf is intended for indoor laboratory use by trained personnel and is supplied as a single piece ready for rotor selection according to the separation task.

Questions about CENT 5430R G,KEYP, WITHOUT ROTOR,230V

What is this article?

CENT 5430R G,KEYP, WITHOUT ROTOR,230V is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Eppendorf for laboratory use. It sits in Rotors, inside Centrifuges, in Lab instruments.

A centrifuge rotor is the rotating part that holds the tubes, and it is rated for a maximum speed and a maximum load. A swing-out rotor and a fixed-angle rotor pellet differently. A rotor from another centrifuge does not belong on this drive, even when it seems to fit.

A centrifuge separates by density. The rotor spins the sample and the force is reported as a multiple of gravity, not as a raw speed, because the same revolutions per minute are a different force at a different radius. A microcentrifuge takes small tubes. A benchtop or floor model takes larger rotors. The tube, the adapter and the rotor have to be the combination the manufacturer rated. An unbalanced load is how centrifuges fail. Measurement of the related quantities sits with the BIPM.
