Description

Centrifuge 5430 R G is a refrigerated benchtop centrifuge with rotary knob controls, supplied without a rotor so laboratories can select the rotor that matches their workflow. Maximum rotor capacity reaches 48 × 1,5/2,0 ml, 6 × 50 ml or 2 × MTP, with a maximum speed of 30.130 × g (17,500 rpm). Exceptional versatility is supported by compatibility with 12 different rotors. The lid can be operated ergonomically with one finger, and menu-guided multilingual software (English, German, French, Spanish) is shown on a large backlit LC display. Five program keys give fast access to routine methods, and up to 50 user-defined settings can be stored. Automatic rotor and imbalance detection enhance operational safety, while the Eppendorf QuickLock® system enables rapid opening and closing of the rotor lid. This cooled 230 V/50–60 Hz (EU) model from manufacturer Eppendorf is intended for flexible micro- and multipurpose centrifugation. Net weight is 56,790 kg, gross weight 63,100 kg and packaging volume 0,263 m³. Pack size is one piece.

Questions about CENT 5430R G,KNOB, WITHOUT ROTOR,230V

What is this article?

CENT 5430R G,KNOB, WITHOUT ROTOR,230V is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Eppendorf for laboratory use. It sits in Rotors, inside Centrifuges, in Lab instruments.

A centrifuge rotor is the rotating part that holds the tubes, and it is rated for a maximum speed and a maximum load. A swing-out rotor and a fixed-angle rotor pellet differently. A rotor from another centrifuge does not belong on this drive, even when it seems to fit.

A centrifuge separates by density. The rotor spins the sample and the force is reported as a multiple of gravity, not as a raw speed, because the same revolutions per minute are a different force at a different radius. A microcentrifuge takes small tubes. A benchtop or floor model takes larger rotors. The tube, the adapter and the rotor have to be the combination the manufacturer rated. An unbalanced load is how centrifuges fail. Measurement of the related quantities sits with the BIPM.
