Description
Centrifuge 5702 is a non-refrigerated benchtop centrifuge with rotary knobs for 230 V/50–60 Hz (EU) operation. It is delivered with rotor A-4-38, including adapters for round-bottom vessels of 4–10 mL and adapters for round-bottom vessels of 2,6–7 mL (two sets of two adapters), supporting common laboratory and blood-collection tube formats. Maximum speed is 3.052 × g (4,400 rpm). The instrument offers a very compact footprint for any lab bench, quiet running for a more comfortable workspace, and a low access height for easy loading and unloading. SOFT brake enables gentle acceleration and deceleration and is optimised for cell separation by gradient centrifugation. The “At set RPM” function starts the timer only when the selected speed is reached, aiding reproducible runs, while a key lock helps prevent unintentional changes. A stainless-steel rotor chamber is rust-free and easy to clean, and electronic imbalance detection supports safe operation. This EU-IVD model from manufacturer Eppendorf is intended for indoor use by trained personnel for separation of liquid mixtures from the human body and complies with IVDR 2017/746 when used as an accessory with an in vitro diagnostic device. Pack size: 1 pc.

Questions about Centrifuge 5702 /230V A-4-38+Vacut.
What is this article?
Centrifuge 5702 /230V A-4-38+Vacut. is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Eppendorf for laboratory use. It sits in Rotors, inside Centrifuges, in Lab instruments.
A centrifuge rotor is the rotating part that holds the tubes, and it is rated for a maximum speed and a maximum load. A swing-out rotor and a fixed-angle rotor pellet differently. A rotor from another centrifuge does not belong on this drive, even when it seems to fit.
A centrifuge separates by density. The rotor spins the sample and the force is reported as a multiple of gravity, not as a raw speed, because the same revolutions per minute are a different force at a different radius. A microcentrifuge takes small tubes. A benchtop or floor model takes larger rotors. The tube, the adapter and the rotor have to be the combination the manufacturer rated. An unbalanced load is how centrifuges fail. Measurement of the related quantities sits with the BIPM.
