Description
Drum heater P-Series rapidLine 200 L 230 V 1200 W Tmax. 90 °C is a flexible jacket heater designed for standard 200–220 L drums. It operates at 230 VAC, protection class II, with a rated power of 1200 W and a maximum permissible operating temperature of 90 °C. The outer shell is water-repellent polyester fabric; fastening is by adjustable lashing straps with buckles and fixing tapes, covering drum circumferences from 1800 to 2100 mm. Jacket height is 800 mm. The heater provides particularly uniform heat distribution and heat transfer; an optional insulating lid is recommended for heat-up, while base heat losses should be reduced by the user (for example with an insulating underlay). Protection rating is IP54. Continuous operation always requires a separate temperature controller. An EX version is also available. Net weight is 8,5 kg. This drum heater from manufacturer Winkler is intended for laboratory and process containers where controlled, even heating of drum contents is required under non-hazardous indoor or suitably sheltered outdoor conditions.

Questions about Drum heater P-Series rapidLine 200L 230V 1,200W Tmax. 90°C
What is this article?
Drum heater P-Series rapidLine 200L 230V 1,200W Tmax. 90°C is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Winkler for laboratory use. It sits in Muffle & tube furnaces, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A muffle furnace surrounds a sample with heat for ashing or ignition, often to 1100 °C. A tube furnace heats a sample in a controlled atmosphere inside a tube. The maximum temperature and the chamber size are the specification. A drying oven is not a furnace.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
