DURAN® filtration attachment with glass rim is a borosilicate glass 3.3 filter plate of 24 mm diameter and porosity 1, intended for laboratory filtration and media separation. The unit forms part of a modular filtration assembly consisting of receiver vessel, sealing ring, glass filter plate and funnel; individual components can be exchanged or combined to create twelve different filter configurations across three apparatus sizes and four porosities. Because a sintered glass filter is used, filter paper or membranes can often be omitted. The glass rim is fire-polished and the white print is permanently fused into the glass for long-term durability.
