Description
Dynamic climate chamber MK240-480V-C is built for heat and cold testing across a temperature range from -40 °C to +180 °C. With a nominal volume of 228 l, the unit supports cyclic temperature tests as a practical alternative to complex custom solutions. APT.line™ preheating chamber technology ensures homogeneous conditions, while programmable condensation protection safeguards samples. A heated viewing window with LED interior lighting, door heating and a stainless steel interior with one stainless steel shelf facilitate observation and handling. The intuitive touchscreen controller offers time-segment and real-time programming, an adjustable ramp function, integrated line recorder and real-time clock. An internal data logger stores measured values for open-format USB readout; computer connectivity is provided via Ethernet, and a 50 mm access port with silicone plug is located on the left. Class 2 temperature safety device according to DIN 12880 with optical alarm, fault diagnosis with optical and acoustic alarm, four castors (two lockable) and CFC-free refrigerant R-452A with compression refrigeration complete the package. APT-COM™ Basic Edition multi-management software is included. This MK series chamber from manufacturer Binder is suited to demanding thermal cycling work.

Questions about Dynamic climate chambers MK240-480V-C
What is this article?
Dynamic climate chambers MK240-480V-C is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Binder for laboratory use. It sits in Drying ovens & climate chambers, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A drying oven holds a temperature above ambient to drive off water or to condition a sample. A climate chamber also holds humidity. Uniformity across the chamber, not only the set point, decides whether two samples on different shelves saw the same conditions.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
Which category should I open next?
