Description
Dynamic climate chamber MK720-480V-C enables heat and cold testing over a temperature range from -40 °C to +180 °C. Its nominal volume of 734 l makes it suitable for larger sample loads and cyclic temperature programmes as a flexible alternative to elaborate custom systems. APT.line™ preheating chamber technology supports uniform temperature distribution, complemented by programmable condensation protection for the specimens. A heated viewing window with LED interior lighting, door heating and a stainless steel interior with one stainless steel shelf aid routine operation. The intuitive touchscreen controller provides time-segment and real-time programming, adjustable ramp function, integrated line recorder and real-time clock. Measured values are stored by an internal data logger and can be read out in open format via USB; Ethernet serves as the computer interface. Two 80 mm access ports with silicone plugs are fitted on the left and right. Further equipment includes a class 2 temperature selector limiter to DIN 12880 with optical alarm, fault diagnosis with optical and acoustic alarm, four castors (two with locking brakes) and CFC-free refrigerant R-452A with compression refrigeration. APT-COM™ Basic Edition software is supplied. This MK series unit from manufacturer Binder is designed for demanding thermal cycling applications.

Questions about Dynamic climate chambers MK720-480V-C
What is this article?
Dynamic climate chambers MK720-480V-C is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Binder for laboratory use. It sits in Drying ovens & climate chambers, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A drying oven holds a temperature above ambient to drive off water or to condition a sample. A climate chamber also holds humidity. Uniformity across the chamber, not only the set point, decides whether two samples on different shelves saw the same conditions.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
Which category should I open next?
