Description
Three-neck round-bottom flask with angled necks and standard ground joints in LBG 3.3 borosilicate glass is intended for multi-port reaction, reflux and distillation work. The centre neck carries an NS 24/29 joint, while two angled side necks provide additional access for condensers, dropping funnels, thermometers or gas lines without overcrowding the vertical axis. Made from borosilicate glass 3.3 from manufacturer Labbox, the vessel combines the thermal-shock resistance and chemical durability typical of LBG 3.3 laboratory glassware with a classic round-bottom profile for uniform heating. Nominal volume is 0,25 l, making the flask suitable for small- to medium-scale synthesis, fractionation and receiver duties. Approximate net weight is 0,120 kg. The angled-neck geometry improves clearance around heating mantles or oil baths and simplifies assembly of multi-component ground-joint setups. Typical applications fall within round-bottom flasks, ground-joint flasks, distillation flasks and collecting flasks. Supplied as one piece for direct integration into existing NS joint systems.

Questions about Flask, round bottom with three necks (side angle), LBG 3.3, cent. 24/29, side 19
What is this article?
Flask, round bottom with three necks (side angle), LBG 3.3, cent. 24/29, side 19 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Labbox for laboratory use. It sits in Round-bottom flasks, inside Beakers & flasks, in Labware.
A round-bottom flask is the heating flask of a distillation or a reflux. The curved wall takes the heat, and the ground neck connects to a still head or a condenser. The joint size, not only the volume, has to match the rest of the set.
A beaker is an open working vessel: easy to pour, poor as a measure. An Erlenmeyer flask has a flat base and a conical wall so a liquid can be swirled without climbing out. A round-bottom flask is for heating under a condenser, because the heat meets a curved wall and the joint at the neck connects to the rest of the glassware. Borosilicate is the glass that survives the temperature change. These forms are listed under ISO laboratory glassware.
