Description
Haematocrit capillary, 75 µL, is a disposable glass capillary for haematocrit determination with a length of 75 mm. According to the manufacturer data the outer diameter is 1,42–1,68 mm and the inner diameter is 1,07–1,23 mm, giving a nominal volume of 75 µL. The capillaries are sodium-heparinised to limit clotting during blood sampling and are marked with a red colour code for rapid visual identification. Supplied by manufacturer Hirschmann, they meet DIN EN ISO 12772 and carry CE marking in line with IVD Directive 98/79/EC. Intended for single use, they support hygienic workflows in clinical diagnostics and research haematology. Each pack contains 5000 pieces, suited to laboratories with continuous demand for packed-cell-volume testing. Defined dimensional tolerances promote reproducible filling and centrifugation performance. These Na-heparinised haematocrit capillaries are appropriate wherever a larger fill volume and standardised capillary geometry are needed for routine haematocrit measurement.

What is this article?
HAEMATOCRIT CAPILLARIES 75µL, OD. 1,5-1,6 MM, NA-HEP is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Hirschmann for laboratory use. It sits in Microcentrifuges & mini centrifuges, inside Centrifuges, in Lab instruments.
A microcentrifuge spins 0.2 mL to 2 mL tubes at high force. A mini centrifuge is the small quick-spin for bringing a droplet down from a lid. They are not interchangeable with a 50 mL rotor. The lid lock is part of the safety of the instrument.
A centrifuge separates by density. The rotor spins the sample and the force is reported as a multiple of gravity, not as a raw speed, because the same revolutions per minute are a different force at a different radius. A microcentrifuge takes small tubes. A benchtop or floor model takes larger rotors. The tube, the adapter and the rotor have to be the combination the manufacturer rated. An unbalanced load is how centrifuges fail. Measurement of the related quantities sits with the BIPM.
